Injuries and suspensions didn't help Ringmer cause after loosing out to a resurgent Redhill side. Goals from Whiteman (2) and Kieran Patel (1) counted for nothing against the 6 from Redhill - Report by David Ruffles

RINGMER 2 - 0 HASSOCKS
On an uncharacteristically mild night at Peacehaven’s ground the Ringmer 2
nd
XI were uncharacteristically out played by a strong Peacehaven side. It was also (rather uncharacteristically) only the second time this season their free-scoring forwards failed to score in a league game.
MATCH REPORT - 02/04/08- RESERVE SECTION EAST
PEACEHAVEN 1 - 0 RINGMER RES
The pattern of play was set in the opening ten minutes as Ringmer began to dominate with Kieran Patel and Simon Greatwich combining well on the right flank to repeatedly open up the visiting defence.
Today’s victory has to be one of Bob & Steve’s finest or at least one of their hardest won. Despite beating Westfield by 5 clear goals two weeks ago at the Caburn, the odds were firmly stacked against Ringmer getting anything from this game. Despite having a squad of 26 Reserve and Youth team players signed on, Bob only had an injury wracked 13 left available

Ringmer Reserves Bow Out in Style As with the best of horror films the backdrop of thunder and lightening was a fitting prelude to something really horrible about to happen. Three minutes into the game Hassocks’ first effort on goal struck the woodwork and the rebound fired over the crossbar. That was the only one they missed Report by Rob Hawkes
MATCH REPORT - 13/04/08- U18 CENTRAL DIVISION
HASSOCKS U18 11 - 0 RINGMER U18's This bit is as empty as our goal was after we thew away a point on Sat!! Winning the toss, Captain Kieran elected to play the first half with the strong Easterly wind at their backs. Ringmer consequently played out the first 45 minutes in the Seaford half creating a lot of problems for the Seaford back four. Report by Rob Hawkes

EAST PRESTON 3 - 2 RINGMER
Ringmer’s last hopes of getting their hands on some silverware this season vanished on Monday night as the Blues threw away a 2-1 lead by conceding two goals in the last fifteen minutes at East Preston
Three points being the only acceptable outcome from tonight’s fixture meant Bob’s starting XI were selected to make sure this was never in doubt. From the first whistle there was only one team on the park as Ringmer dominated the play, but it was Peacehaven who had the first attempt on target Report by Rob Hawkes

WHITEHAWK U18 3 - 2 RINGMER U18's Anyone knowing these two sides would not have bet against the eventual outcome, given the difficulties Pease Pottage have been going through recently and Ringmer’s determined push for promotion. What was surprising though was Ringmer’s willingness to give Pease Pottage a two goal lead. Report by Rob Hawkes Following Ringmer U18s’ rather humiliating defeat at Hassocks on Sunday, many were wondering how they were going to react in this their next fixture against a side who had previously defeated them at home in the league. Report by Rob Hawles
MATCH REPORT - 19/04/08- RESERVE SECTION EAST
PEASE POTTAGE RES 2 - 10 RINGMER RES
Ringmer dictated the play for long periods with their controlled passing game to such an extent that the home side were restricted to the odd breakaway. Ringmer’s defence began with Jack Stern deputising in goal for the injured Joe Adams, Matt Davies also stepping up from the Reserves at full back for his first start in the first team
MATCH REPORT - 19/04/08- 1ST X1 DIVISION ONE
Oakwood 1 - 5 RINGMER
Ringmer dominated possession throughout the game creating numerous chances. The first real chance falling to Amro Shaker in the 9th minute as Josh Lawrence worked his way to the SFRFC by-line and cut the ball back for Amro to side foot the ball just wide of the left hand post
MATCH REPORT - 21/04/08- U18 CENTRAL DIVISION
RINGMER U18 3 - 0 ST FRANCIS RANGERS U18's
The Robins went ahead after seven minutes. Danny McLaughlin was adjudged to have handled inside the Ringmer penalty area and Spencer Slaughter placed his spot kick into the bottom corner of the net out of reach of Jack Stern. Six minutes later
MATCH REPORT - 22/04/08- 1ST X1 DIVISION ONE
HASSOCKS 2 - 2 RINGMER Chichester went ahead in the seventh minute when Mike O’Neill ran through the Ringmer defence to fire home between Dan Davies and his right-hand post. After twenty five minutes Marc Whiteman wriggled through a crowd of players before laying the ball back to Munnery whose low shot forced a diving save from Peter Rice Report by David Ruffles
Mile Oak kicked off and immediately took the fight to Ringmer, putting them under fairly intense pressure for the first 20 minutes making it difficult for Ringmer to break out of their half. The Ringmer defence soaked up the pressure well and barring a couple of worrying near misses managed to keep Mile Oak’s efforts to outside the 18 yard box.

I would like to thank Rob personally and on behalf of the Club for his excellent reporting on both the Reserve and U18 matches. Rob was thrown in at the deep end rather by me at the beginning of the season when I asked him if he could cover a match that I could not do, he graciously took it on and ended up covering every single match report from both teams for the rest of the season.
MATCH REPORT - 03/05/08- 1ST X1 DIVISION ONE
RINGMER 1 - 3 REDHILL
In the final game of the season started promisingly for the Blues with Joe Dryer running onto a pass from Luke Gedling in the third minute only to place his shot inches wide. However it was not long before the Redhill attack began to cause problems for Ringmer’s defence
