Ringmer again started well and dominated the first half but only scoring once with a goal from Mark Whiteman and conceding one from a corner just before half time against the run of play. The second half you would have thought the whole Blues side had been subbed as EP came on strong and stagged most of the play almost taking the lead on several occasions with little return at goal from the Blues.
From the first whistle Ringmer took control of this match, completely dominating possession and leaving Upper Beeding struggling to put together any moves to trouble the Ringmer defence. Ryan Storrie opened the scoring for Ringmer .

It was always going to be a hard one to win but Ringmer gave it a good go, to shoot three levels above yourself would be a daunting task for any team but the Blues did not look out of place and gave a good account of themselves, they stuck to the job in hand and never gave up. Boro's strength and pace up front told but our defence worked hard. With two goals in the first half, the first taking a deflection the half ended. Blues keeper Joe Adams kept Ringmer in the hunt with some fine saves and guarded the net well in t he second half as the Blues held the scoreline at 2-0, although Boro rained in many powerful shots at the Blues goal, most were off target, then as the ref raised the whistle to his mouth to blow for time the home team buried their third goal of the night.

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH 3 - 0 RINGMER
Ringmer got back to their winning way's in the league today with a 4-2 win against Selsey here at the caburn. Joe Dryer nocking in the opener with a great header from a Dan Evans corner. Mark Whiteman followed up with his first hat trick of the season. Selsey managed to draw level at 1-1 by half time and then scored again in the last few minutes of the game. The Ruffles Report
This was the proverbial “game of two halves”. Well it certainly must have seemed so from Peacehaven’s perspective anyway. Ringmer had a number of forced changes in their line up with Betsworth, Last and Greatwich all unavailable for selection.

Ringmer 1st X1 4 - 2 Selsey 1st X1 A 5-2 win for the Blues made the trip for the small band of supporters well worth the long trip down to Rye for yet another evening match with them. From the start Ringmer seemed to dominate with three goals in the first half coming from Nick Barden (2) and Mark Whiteman who doubled his tally for the night in the second half and Miles Scerri getting on the sheet
with the fifth. The two goals from Rye came from two defensive errors from the Blues but never the less the goals were two good shots from Rye's Andy Garman in the first half and Sam Edwards in the second

RYE UTD RES 1 - 1 RINGMER RES With Bob Munnery on duty with the Ringmer 1st XI, the long haul out to Rye to manage the 2nd XI fell to Steve Oliver. (Bob is adamant he didn’t orchestrate it this way!) By way of consolation for the long drive, it was a warm and sunny afternoon with some excellent football on display from Ringmer. Read Rob's Report Here Ringmer started the first half brightly and for the first 20 minutes Crowborough struggled to keep up with them. However Ringmer started to fade and some uncharacteristic wayward passing allowed Crowborough back into the game. Read Rob's Full Match Report
MATCH REPORT - 27/10/07-DIVISION 1
RINGMER 1st X1 2 - 2 OAKWOOD 1st X1
The Blues never really got things together in the first half especially after the visitors struck in the 9th minute and then again with a penalty given for what seemed just a coming together of legs, if anything it should have gone the other way. Ringmer however persisted against a lively Oakwood side, playing the long ball game. Mark Whiteman pulled one back just before half time for the Blues. The second half the Blues attacked fir 45 minutes but nothing went their way until Whiteman was downed in the box, Miles Scerri put the ball away to level the score. There was stalemate through to the end which led to extra time being played. Both sides fought on but a foul on Whiteman going for goal saw Luke Gedling power the free kick into the net. A nerve racking last 15 saw Ringmer hold on to a flimsy lead with the Rangers still pushing for the replay but nerves held out for the Blues ten, a relief was felt after the final whistle. The Ruffles Report Ringmer had their work cut out against a lively and purposeful St Francis Rangers tonight especially after the Blues went down to ten men after Danny Mclaughlin had to leave the field for retaliation after a hard tackle in the second half. Mark price had already been exchanged early after he had to retire after a kick to the head in the first. An early goal from the Rangers had the Blues struggling to find an equaliser which finally came on the 60th minute with a goal from division 1's leading goal scorer Mark Whiteman.
